I went to Texas with my grandpa and Uncle Jacob, Uncle Zach, and Uncle Elijah, and my Aunt Mary kate and my Brother Carter. we went to Texas in march but I forgot to post the photos but better late than never. on the way there we stopped at Fort Worth and visited my Aunts and Uncles and my Great Grandma (also known as Gam). my Aunt Missy has 2 dogs one is a chihuahua I think and the other is part chihuahua and part husky. So we spent the night at my Aunt Missy's. the next day we drove 7 or 8 hours and stopped at a hotel.
First we set up the tent (we as in jacob, Zach, Grandpa) I just stood there......
after that we went went hiking the first trail was 1 mile but it was really HOT and later that day we went on another hike it was 6 miles so 3 miles up 3 miles down.
Here is a couple pictures of the last hike we went on.

(Also Carter took some of the pictures)
This first picture is from the 6 mile hike.
It was super pretty but kinda hot (Poor Mary Kate she had bad allergies the entire trip).
we stopped quite a bit so we could take a drink because if you tried to drink while walking up the mountain it would spill EVERYWHERE!
It was a tiring hike but worth it. The view from the top was INCREDIBLE!
Carter, Jacob, and Elijah beat everybody else to the top of the mountain. So they took this picture of Jacob at the very tippy top of the mountain. and since they all hiked up the mountain together so they called themselves "The Three Amigos"
Even though there is a shadow in it. It was the best picture I could find of the top of the mountain.
This is a butterfly that grandpa found. Carter and Jacob named the butterfly Wilbert.
Wilbert is now dead
R.I.P
These pictures are from a the 3rd hike and it was 12 miles long!!
